
Los Angeles native ROBERT L. SHERMAN is a long-time local businessman and photographer. In the last several years he has traveled extensively to the cities of the U.S., Latin America, Europe, and Asia in the practice of his favorite photographic interest, urban landscapes.
His work has been exhibited locally at venues such as The Blue 7 and KM Galleries in Santa Monica, The Julia Dean Photo Workshops, the Bel-Air Camera Gallery, the Annenberg Beach House, and Pico House at El Pueblo in downtown L. A.. He has published many photography books including: "The Automobile: An Evolution of Style”, "At the Pier", "A World View", "Latin America Guide" and “City Landscapes”. Currently, Bob is concentrating on images of The L.A. urban landscape which highlight the changes taking place and the resulting art-forms. Some of his latest projects are: “Red”, “Going East on Sunset Blvd.”, “ Window Dressing”, and “Signs of Old L. A.”
Currently, Bob is working with THE LOS ANGELES PHOTOGRAPHY PROJECT, a consortium of artistswith a continuing mission to produce photographic work in and about the Los Angeles area.
